Rose Week

Rose Week will take place on Tuesday 13 to Sunday 18 July in the City of Belfast International Rose Garden in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park

It will include:

Summer Rose and Flower Show (17 - 18 July)
Featuring displays of roses, sweet pea, pot plants, bonsai and cacti.
Children's activities
Face painting, balloon modelling, magic shows and bouncy castle.
Entertainment
Varies each day - includes Irish dancing, orienteering trails, mini crazy golf, street entertainment and Chinese lion dances.
Craft stalls (17 - 18 July)
Summer stalls will offer a selection of crafts and gardening items.
Photography exhibition and workshop
View the winning entries from our Belfast Parks Photographic Competition or take part in our Snapshots photographic workshop.
Rose trials

The trial roses will be judged by a panel of experts on Wednesday 14 July.

A panel of international judges will inspect around 50 new varieties of rose and award points for habit, growth, resistance to disease, flower quality and scent.
