Register for our next WTC Workshop!
Negotiating your International Trade Terms
Date: Tuesday 25th August 2009
Duration: 9.15am – 1.00pm
Venue: Presidents’ Club, Midtown Center, 25 Talbot, Belfast

About this workshop
Do you know the difference between your 'FOB' and your 'CIF' and when they should be used?

When you are negotiating a price with an international supplier or customer you will need to be aware of the trade terms used. These 'Incoterms' are a uniform trade language that companies can use to represent the terms of a sale accurately.

Incoterms essentially deal with:

Costs: who is responsible for the expenses associated with transportation
Control: who owns the goods at a given point in the journey
Liability: who is responsible for paying for damage to goods during transit

This half-day workshop will equip you with the knowledge you need to better understand the terms of international trade.

Who should attend?
This cost-effective workshop is suitable for any business that is at an early stage in international trade that is involved in buying or selling products.

This workshop is for Belfast based companies.
