Lisa Byrne represented by the Golden Thread Gallery Belfast has be short listed by the Guggenheim New York for her video based on Taxi drivers experiences during the troubles in Belfast. I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa while doing some work with the Golden Thread and had to say felt she was doing an amazing job of extracting views and experiences from many of the general public that just make you shiver and creek with the way that in this messed up provience of ours in order just to make a living people have experienced all sorts of harrowing things.
