Search on for creative talent
Published:16th Oct 2009
The British Council is searching for the nation's top entrepreneurial talent in music, fashion design and publishing.
As part of its UK Young Creative Entrepreneur Awards, six people in each sector will be chosen to go on an international tour specific to their chosen category to compete for the top title.
Each group will visit a different country to enhance their knowledge of the local market and industry structure.
While on tour, contestants will be able to network as well as develop their profile within their sector.
After the tour finishes, a winner will be chosen from each category and will be awarded £5,000 to invest in their chosen project in the country they visited.
Music finalists are to be flown to China, fashion contestants to Indonesia and those within the publishing category will visit South Africa.
To apply, applicants must have at least three years professional experience and must also be aged between 25 and 35-years-old.
Hopefuls have until November 30th to enter.
