PS2

Go and see the exhbition in Ps2 Florian is originally from Austria and now based in the new ad hoc studios and has done an amazing sound installation I took a friend of mine from London in and he had an out of body expereince in it.How exactly ? well he invites the viewer to listen into different recordings and when you stop listening to them and take them off your preception is changed a great deal. It's hard to explain what I mean but it makes you realise just how altered our different states are dependant on what we listen too. We are used to putting on music to change our perceptions and emotions but not recordings of ambiant noise to do the same thing.
Ps2 is in the Catherdral quarter opposite Belfast exposed and open most afternoons. You have to knock on the window to get in but please do its well worth a visit. It made me think just how important art is to help people change their perceptions of the world.
