Haven seeking volunteers for “Build-It-Week” in Haiti, Halloween 2009 * Haven, a new international development agency which is building homes and hope for the people of Haiti, is seeking volunteers. Haven is aiming to bring 250 people to Haiti during at Halloween 2009 for its first ever “Build-It-Week”. Volunteers will build houses alongside the Haitian community, stay in tented military style accommodation and see at first hand the realities of life for millions of Haiti's people. Haven is seeking experienced tradespeople, including block-layers, labourers, carpenters, plasterers, electricians, plumbers etc. But, it is also seeking medical staff, caterers, cleaners and has limited places for those not from these sectors but who are willing to work hard to improve the lives of others. http://www.activelink.ie/ce/active.php?id=1344
